Crackdown on fraud》Internet 'real-name system for advertisements' will be implemented on New Year's Day next year, FSC: VASP registration system will be launched by the end of the year
Chairman Peng Jinlong of the Financial Supervisory Commission stated during a legislative session yesterday that the Commission supports the real-name system for internet advertisements proposed by the Department of Digital Development to combat fraud. He also announced that the registration system for virtual assets service providers (VASPs) will be implemented on January 1st next year. (Background: The Financial Supervisory Commission has confirmed that the VASP registration system will be implemented as early as December this year! Legislator Ge Rujun is concerned that industry players may be caught off guard).
