SEC Commissioner Launches Ten-City Tour to Gather Feedback on Digital Asset Regulations

[Coin World] Hester Peirce, a commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), will embark on a tour this fall, leading a team to visit ten cities for roundtable meetings aimed at gathering feedback from industry stakeholders, developers, and investors, so the agency can better assess future digital asset regulations. The agency's cryptocurrency special working group is "particularly interested" in meeting with cryptocurrency startups that have been established for less than two years and have no more than 10 employees. The roundtable discussions will take place from August to December.
