According to CoinVoice, as reported by CoinDesk, the U.S. House of Representatives has advanced key encryption legislation to the final voting stage after nearly 10 hours of marathon voting. This procedural vote took place on Wednesday, and some Republican members insisted on including provisions against Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in the defense authorization bill, which ultimately passed with a vote of 217 to 212. The stablecoin bill is expected to undergo final voting as early as Thursday, and if passed, it will be sent to the President for signature.

The GENIUS Act and the CLARITY Act are also expected to face final votes soon, with the market generally anticipating bipartisan support for the related bills.
