CoinVoice has recently learned, according to Cointelegraph, that the EU has announced sanctions against 9 individuals and 6 entities, accusing them of evading sanctions through Crypto Assets and spreading pro-Russian disinformation. The sanctioned targets include Russian influencer Simon Boykov and his associated exchange, as well as the A7 OOO company, which is suspected of manipulating the Moldova elections.

The investigation shows that relevant entities transfer funds through high-risk exchanges and cash exchange services, and use the ruble stablecoin A7A5 for cross-border transactions. The EU stated that this move aims to cut off the funding chain for the spread of false information.
