Spain's BBVA Bank launches Bitcoin investment advisory services
BBVA, Spain's second-largest bank, will launch a bitcoin investment advice service for high-net-worth clients from September 2024. According to Reuters, the bank is currently recommending to clients to allocate 3% to 7% of crypto assets in their portfolios, depending on their personal risk appetite.
Philippe Meyer, Head of Digital and Blockchain Solutions for BBVA Switzerland, stated at the DigiAssets conference in London that the current investment advice covers two crypto assets: Bitcoin and Ethereum, and plans to expand to more types of crypto assets in the future.
